Welcome To Bonny Snowdon Fine Art
Welcome to my website where you can find information about my commission books (which are currently closed), my teaching channel, my workshops, examples of my work and a little bit about me! I am a North Yorkshire based artist who loves to create, inspire and teach. I started my teaching channel in February 2019 and have had such wonderful support from it and met some amazing artists. Collaboration and helping others is so important to me which is why I love my teaching just as much as my drawing. For my information about my teaching have a look under the Inspire & Teach tab in the menu bar. There you will find pages about Workshops, Coaching for Artists and my Patreon channel. I’m always happy to answer any questions so if you would like to get in touch then my details are at the bottom of each page.
Artist of the Year Award
I was honoured to be nominated for Artist of the Year 2020 in the 2nd Annual Coloured Pencil Awards alongside three other fantastic artists, and was absolutely thrilled to hear I’d won the award! I have received such fantastic support from the coloured pencil community but to have actually been awarded with Artist of the Year left me utterly speechless. I am so thankful to Color Pencil Magazine and to everyone who voted for me – it’s an absolute honour.
Patreon Teaching Channel
If you would like to learn how to draw animals with coloured pencil, then consider subscribing to my teaching channel, I have 100’s of hours of real time video with live voice over explaining how and why I use certain techniques. My community is growing, so not only do you learn from me, you also have the support and expertise of over 400 other artists. You can subscribe from as little as $5 a month that’s approx £3.81, and you’ll have a large back catalogue of tutorials to choose from. This leopard is just one of many full length tutorials which will propel you into the world of coloured pencil and see your development grow.
SAA Paint Magazine
I was absolutely delighted and honoured to have been asked to create a front cover for the SAA’s magazine ‘Paint’. The theme was British wildlife and autumnal, so what better animal to draw than a squirrel, from a fabulous photo by Paul Sawford, I also have a double page spread inside. The SAA is the largest art community in the world, so being a part of that was just amazing, to find out more about them visit their website:
